Full time chef required for busy pizzeria in Richmond.
• Menu planning, estimating food and labour costs.
• Preparing and cooking menu items.
• Training and supervision of apprentices and less experienced staff.
• Adhering to, explaining and enforcing of hygiene regulations.
• Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
• Delegation of tasks to other team members.
• Supervise Cooks and assist as needed.
• Monitor food stock and place orders.
Requirements:
• Qualifications in commercial cookery (Cert IV or higher)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in the commercial kitchen
• Flexible availability
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team
• Understanding of OH&S and food hygiene requirements
• Experienced in multi-cuisine.
