Wholesale Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Wholesale Account Manager to join our team.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our business while developing valuable skills and expertise.

About the Role

This position involves managing and growing the wholesale national retailer's portfolio across all brands and categories.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing and growing the wholesale national retailer's portfolio across all brands and categories.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement sales, product, and marketing strategies.
* Preparing and executing initiatives designed to increase sales and market share.
* Overseeing customer order handling, inquiries, and complaint resolution to meet or exceed agreed service standards.
* Engaging with customers to ensure complete satisfaction and build long-lasting relationships.
* Managing customer relationships through email, phone, branch visits, and field visits on a regular schedule or as needed.
* Developing and maintaining efficient and effective customer communication plans and operating rhythms.
* Communicating and enforcing relevant policies and procedures that impact or involve customers.
* Preparing and analysing internal and external monthly and quarterly reports to guide decision-making.
* Attending training programs on products, systems, and skills and applying learned expertise to enhance customer interactions.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

* Extensive and successful sales experience demonstrated through year-on-year achievement of sales targets.
* Experience working with national retailers.
* Capacity to travel to tradeshows and interstate customers – minimum once per month.
* Demonstrated experience managing a complex and diverse customer portfolio.
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
* Business to Customer or Business to Business selling and servicing experience.
* Demonstrated ability to implement sales strategies and tactics.
