Weir Minerals is seeking a service specialist for the greater Hunter‐Central Coast Region. The role will be hybrid, based at Beresfield or the broader NSW region.
In this role you will support the Weir Minerals aftersales business, delivering high‐quality support for equipment, ensuring strong performance across spare parts and service operations, and contributing to sustainable aftermarket growth and a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Regional and Sales Managers to shape and execute strategic marketing and growth plans for the Aftersales business.
* Lead initiatives to improve customer operations by analysing Total Ownership Costs, proposing commercially sound trials, and delivering measurable savings.
* Provide expert troubleshooting support, conduct brand stack and aftermarket inspections to enhance system performance and long‐term competitiveness.
* Build strong customer relationships through technical training, joint sales calls, and tailored site‐specific strategies that drive aftermarket retention.
* Maintain deep knowledge of customer processes, industry trends, and competitor activity to support accurate forecasting, budgeting, and CRM record‐keeping.
* Deliver first‐class customer service through regular reporting, call documentation, and active participation in the Weir Customer Survey Program.
* Demonstrate commitment to zero‐harm behaviours and support the development of a world‐class safety culture.
Job Knowledge, Education and Qualifications
* 3–5 years of relevant industry experience in a similar role.
* Sales experience within industrial markets; an engineering qualification or trade technical knowledge is desirable.
* Prior experience with Weir Products would be highly advantageous.
* Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
