Qualified Structural Landscaper / Skilled Handyman
Casual Role – Brisbane & Gold Coast
Brisbane Retaining Builders is a growing contractor specialising in concrete sleeper retaining walls, fencing, and landscaping projects across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality builds while providing a friendly, professional service to our residential clients.
We are looking for a Qualified Structural Landscaper or a Skilled Handyman with relevant experience to join our team.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in retaining wall construction (concrete sleeper walls), fencing, and general landscaping.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in retaining wall construction is required.
- Ability to lead and supervise a small team of labourers and machinery operators.
- Minimum 6-12 months of team leadership experience is required.
- Own vehicle is essential (tools optional).
- Willingness to travel across Brisbane & Gold Coast (travel over 30 minutes paid).
- Presentable and professional when dealing with residential clients.
- Friendly, team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
- Must be able to build retaining walls independently with support from labourers and machinery.
- Excavator ticket and experience highly regarded.
- Flexibility to complete ad-hoc handyman tasks when required.
- Availability for site visits for site measure when needed.
- Valid work visa or Australian work rights are required for this position.
