Overview Salary $93,020 to $93,997 + superannuation + Income Protection + 9-day fortnight Join our Stormwater Maintenance Team Play a key role in maintaining and improving Gawler's stormwater infrastructure.
Your work will help ensure effective water flow management while reducing environmental impacts for our community.
Responsibilities Provide supervision, support, and direction to the team on day-to-day activities.
Work closely with the Team Leader and Leading Workers to program projects and activities in line with other workgroups schedules and business plan objectives.
Assist with scheduling and resourcing for daily maintenance programs and projects.
Ensure all works are delivered to design standards, regulations, and codes of practice, applying corrective strategies where required.
Supervise contractors and resolve contractor enquiries as needed.
Keep the Team Leader informed of work progress and emerging issues.
Actively participate in hands-on operational work in line with multifunctional Award provisions.
About You We are seeking a motivated, hands-on team player who is passionate about delivering high-quality services to the community.
You will bring: Experience in civil maintenance, drainage, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of stormwater systems and their environmental importance.
A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
A current MR Driver's Licence.
Workzone Traffic Management Accreditation.
White Card and relevant safety training (desirable).
A strong commitment to the Vision, Mission, and Values of the Town of Gawler is essential.
