Blood Motor Group is a well-established and respected automotive dealership group proudly representing leading brands in the Geelong region. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead the service department at Blood Hyundai.
This is a key leadership role responsible for driving performance, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the service department.
About the Role
As the Service Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the service department, manage a team of technicians and service advisors, and ensure customers receive a high level of service throughout their experience.
The role requires strong leadership, operational management, and a focus on customer satisfaction and departmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and lead the service department team including service advisors and technicians
* Oversee workshop operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
* Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve customer concerns
* Monitor service department KPIs including labour sales, productivity and efficiency
* Manage department scheduling, workflow and repair order processes
* Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and dealership procedures
* Recruit, train and develop service department staff
* Work closely with Parts and Sales departments to support overall dealership performance
* Maintain a safe and professional work environment
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in an automotive service department leadership role (Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager or Senior Service Advisor)
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to manage KPIs, budgets and departmental performance
* Good understanding of dealership systems and service operations
* Experience with Hyundai or other franchise brands will be highly regarded
