Teacher Assistant – Physical Education. Limited Tenure: Special Project position. 3 days per week. 40 weeks per year (term time only).

St Aloysius Catholic College is a co‐educational Catholic College on three campuses in the Kingborough Municipality. The Junior Campus is located in Kingston Beach (Kinder – Year 4), the Middle Campus is located in Huntingfield (Years 5‐8) and the Senior Campus is also located in Huntingfield (Years 9‐12).

The College is seeking applications from suitably experienced candidates for the following position.

Teacher Assistant – Physical Education

Limited Tenure: Special Project position.

3 days per week.

40 weeks per year (term time only).

Position commences February 2026 (start date to be negotiated with successful applicant).

All Teacher Assistant appointments may be based at any of the College's three campus locations.

About the Role

The Teacher Assistant is accountable for the effective delivery of quality educational support for students to enable enhanced learning outcomes. This role provides support to teachers in the delivery of defined educational programmes and activities and interventions for students.

Within the role the Teacher Assistant supports the Catholic Identity and Evangelising Mission and works collaboratively with other staff and members of the school community to support students to achieve enhanced learning outcomes.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.
