Location: Gunnedah, NSW
Contract Type: Full Time, 35 hours per week
Salary Range: Grade 21 ($ - $ per week + 12% Superannuation & 3.5% CLA) - TCP up to $165,000.

Our Next Strategy and Assets Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Project Management (Preconstruction)Project Management (Delivery)State and Federal Grants - research, application, and acquittalRoad Maintenance Council Contract (RMCC) - coordination and implementationDisaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) - coordination and implementationImprovements, Renewals, Maintenance and Operations on State, Regional and Local Roads - coordination and implementationCouncil Quarries - coordination and implementationProvide Quality administration support as required.
Key Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications acceptable for membership to the Institution of Engineers, Australia.WHS General Induction for Construction Work (White Card)Demonstrated skills and knowledge in use of Microsoft Office applications and other Council IT SystemsAbility and continued commitment to work according to Councils' policies and Code of Conduct, with or without supervision.Current valid NSW Class C Drivers Licence (ongoing employment is conditional on maintaining this Licence).
While not required, desirable characteristics of a successful candidate could include:
Project Management QualificationPost Graduate Qualifications in the areas of Engineering, Management, Business or the Environment./ Certificate in Project ManagementExperience in Local GovernmentPossess or be Eligible for Tier 2 Quarry Manager in NSW
