Hudson has the privilege of partnering with the ACT Government to appoint a new Chair and Deputy Chair of the Governing Board, influential roles at the helm of one of Australia's most progressive public education institutions. This is an opportunity to influence the Territory's education future, working alongside an engaged Board and executive team, shaping outcomes that change lives through learning.
CIT is pivotal to the ACT's skills agenda, equipping the workforce of tomorrow through innovation, inclusion and excellence in learning. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the next chapter of an institution central to the Territory's economic and social success.
As Chair, you will guide the Board's strategic direction and governance, fostering strong relationships across government, industry and community. This role demands a leader of substance, someone who brings gravitas, systems-level thinking and the ability to inspire collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
As Deputy Chair, you will play an active role in shaping CIT's strategic direction, governance and partnerships across education, industry and government. This is a leadership position suited to a board professional or senior executive who thrives on purpose, policy impact and outcomes that matter for the ACT community.
You will bring :
Significant governance or senior executive experience, ideally within complex public, education or industry environments
Strategic foresight, sound judgement and commitment to integrity in decision-making
Knowledge or expertise in one or more of: vocational education and training, business and finance, governance, or social policy
A connection to Canberra and an understanding of relevant accountability and governance arrangements for a statutory body reporting to a Minister

Casual Loading
