What you'll do
* Lead a high-performing production engineering team managing live trading systems
* Own incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous reliability improvements
* Drive automation, observability, and proactive monitoring to reduce manual intervention
* Coordinate global follow-the-sun support and ensure seamless market operations
* Collaborate with developers, traders, and infrastructure teams to optimise system performance
Tech stack
* Linux / Unix, Python, Bash
* Kubernetes, Docker, AWS / GCP
* CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitLab
* Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk
* Distributed & low-latency environments
About you
* 8+ years in production engineering, SRE, or trading systems support
* Hands-on experience with incident management and automation in mission-critical environments
* Strong team leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and growing engineers
* Comfortable troubleshooting distributed systems and optimising for performance
* Financial services or low-latency trading experience a plus, but not required
