The opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager to join the CoE's Statutory Reporting team to lead global engagements for clients with multi-country Statutory Reporting compliance requirements.
The Statutory Reporting process will involve data gathering and validation, through to GAAP bridging and preparation of Statutory Financial Statements.
You will have the opportunity to develop relationships with key accounts and will be responsible for seeking process improvement opportunities for established clients, in addition to implementing services for new clients.
Our Statutory Reporting professionals leverage centralised technology to prepare globally consistent group to local GAAP bridging packs and Statutory financial statements.
The delivery approach will combine a blend of central and country expertise to drive the delivery of a consistent and standardized financial statement preparation process.
This is a hybrid position based in Warrang – Sydney.
Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

Your key responsibilities You will be supporting pursuits and be the point of contact for our Global Clients, to support for the design, implementation and governance of a globally consistent, standardised and centrally driven financial statement preparation process.
Lead and manage a team responsible for delivering statutory reporting services, including but not limited to statutory financial statement preparation and GAAP Bridging Collaborate closely with clients, understand their challenges, and proactively identify opportunities to improve financial operations, add value, and contribute to their success.
Skills and attributes for success Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
An ability to distil complex concepts into simple messages; Extensive accounting experience in finance operations or accounting roles, within a professional services firm with thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills to effectively manage client engagements and lead a team.
Analytical acumen with the ability to interpret complex financial data, provide strategic insights, and drive impactful solutions.

GAAP bridging and Statutory Financial statement preparation experience; Understanding and experience working with various ERP reporting solutions; Experience working with Financial Statement preparation tools (eg. Caseware, Workiva, Thomson Reuters) Experience coaching and developing junior staff; Experience at an international level.
