About The Opportunity
Liverpool Hospital is inviting enthusiastic and committed Registered Midwives to become part of our Antenatal ward team. We deliver care to women with complex or high-risk conditions, including gestational diabetes, hypertension, and multiple pregnancies, within the South Western Sydney Local Health District.
You’ll work in a collaborative environment that values continuous learning and professional development. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team including CMEs, MUMs, midwives, and nurses to grow your skills and make a meaningful impact daily.

What We’ll Be Doing
The midwife is a responsible and accountable professional who works in partnership with women to provide support, care and advice during pregnancy, labour and the postpartum period. Responsibilities include conducting births within the midwife’s scope and providing care for the newborn and infant.

Liverpool Hospital is a major health service offering a wide range of clinical services, including critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care, and brain injury rehabilitation. It is a teaching facility for UNSW Sydney and Western Sydney University and provides extensive clinical services across emergency care, cancer treatment, paediatrics, and mental health. The hospital features 23 operating theatres and a capacity for 877 beds. Ongoing redevelopment as part of the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct aims to expand clinical services and research facilities.
