What success looks like in this role:
1. Provides asset management support for specific organisational areas and/or designated IT equipment and software.
2. Responds to user requests about asset-related issues (i.e., functional issues, device status, replacing lost equipment).
3. Works with desktop support / support teams to resolve minor asset-related problems.
4. Maintains compliance documentation related to asset management, ensuring assets meet company and regulatory requirements (i.e. for security, data protection and auditing).
5. Tracks and manages software licenses to ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
6. Gathers and compiles data related to asset usage, cost, performance and compliance - preparing and distributing reports per established protocol.
7. Assists with audit / review preparation by gathering and providing relevant asset data.
8. Responds to audits / reviews by correcting discrepancies and addressing noted issues and concerns - escalating as appropriate.
9. Observes and recommends potential improvements in the asset tracking process.
10. Assists with testing and implementation of updates to the tracking management system.
11. Ensures compliance with internal policies, regulations and industry standards.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
BA/BS degree and 2-4 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
