About the Role
Bossco 4x4 is looking for a motivated and hands-on workshop technician to join our growing team in Prestons, Sydney.
Your primary role will be installing aftermarket 4x4 accessories for customers, with a strong focus on dual cab ute setups including roller covers, canopies, roof racks, electrical accessories, and complete vehicle fit-outs.
We're constantly expanding our product range, so we're looking for someone who enjoys learning current skills, solving problems, and working on a variety of vehicles and accessories.
Responsibilities
* Installation of 4x4 accessories and vehicle fit-outs
* Assembly and fitting of aluminium canopies and roof rack systems
* Automotive wiring including soldering and accessory integration
* Multi‐day fit‐out projects requiring planning and time management
* Occasional fabrication or modification work
Additional tasks during quieter periods
* Stock control
* Pick packing
* Workshop organisation and cleanliness
* General warehouse support
Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Hours
Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Opportunity to work overtime on Saturdays
Skills & Experience
* Strong interest and knowledge in automotive accessories, especially 4WDs and off‐roading
* Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
* Work well in a team environment and follow workshop processes
* Confident with automotive wiring, soldering, and cable routing
* Comfortable removing or modifying bumpers and panels during installations
* Good problem‐solving and time management skills
* Speak fluent English
Highly Regarded
* Suspension fitting experience
* Fabrication or modification skills
* Existing relationships within the automotive industry (dealerships, workshops, accessory stores, etc.)
* Own tools (preferred, but not essential – workshop tools are provided)
