The Site Supervisor is responsible for the correct, timely and profitable execution of the project. Lift plan knowledge is desired.
The Site Supervisor is responsible for the Crane and Rigging crew onsite, and monthly shutdowns. Previous Supervisor experience in mining or process plant maintenance is essential.
This role is a Monday to Friday role based in Orange NSW. Potential for relocation is on offer for the right candidate.
This position will have commercial responsibility for successful on-site operations, drive continuous improvement processes, and hold overall responsibility for site performance and Health & Safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting daily pre-starts and weekly toolbox with all the site crew, communicating any safety alerts, safety campaigns when they arise.
* Overseeing site-based resource including employees and subcontractors.
* Establishing and reviewing project manning plans and rotation schedules to ensure employees receive adequate rest and roster periods without compromising project staffing levels.
* Managing employee performance and personnel issues such as absence, appraisal, pay etc.

* Solid knowledge and experience in working in compliance with OH&S Legislation.
* Experience leading projects, previous exposure to Mining would be highly desirable.
* Experience in management of contract, safety, cost, time, and quality.
