Selection Criteria
* Hold as a minimum a bachelor's degree in social work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
* Understanding of both the Mental Health and Guardianship Acts and their applicability to this role.
* Demonstrated ability to provide effective and a broad range of Social Worker interventions within an acute setting.
* Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* Understanding of recovery focused care and principles within an acute mental health setting.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated skills in computer literacy.
* Current NSW Drivers Licence.
