Sales Manager – Humes Business
Opportunity within Holcim Australia’s Humes business. Pivotal sales management role requiring seasoned professional with strategic and sales management experience.
About The Opportunity
Sales manager responsible for maximizing opportunities across region with existing and new clients. Deliver sales targets, develop relationships with major clients, engineers and contractors. Provide coaching and mentoring to staff.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Build relationships and identify sales opportunities.
- Generate and convert new leads.
- Build brand loyalty and maximize revenues.
- Develop and maintain structured customer contact plan within allocated accounts aligned with budget targets.
- Maintain and enhance positive working relationships with assigned customers to build loyalty.
- Identify and follow up new business, product and/or project opportunities within existing customer base.
- Resolve customer issues, disputes and/or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Enrol relevant internal staff and ensure accountabilities are clearly defined to resolve issues satisfactorily.
- Promote full product and service range within territory to maximize opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer database.
- Understand market changes, trends, opportunities, risks and competitive activity within allocated territory.
- Maintain positive working relationship with all relevant internal staff impacting customer experience.
About You
- Experienced sales professional passionate driving sales performance with practical skills and knowledge in developing sales teams.
- Balance immediate target demands with long‑term brand building strategy.
- Integrity, positive attitude, strong leadership skills.
- Established network within civil infrastructure or related sectors desirable.
- Engineering and/or commercial qualifications desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrate high‑level team leadership of sales professionals in related sectors.
- Street‑smart, level‑headed, down to earth with exemplary ethical conduct and professional judgement.
- Focus on coaching and developing others.
- Proficiency in Google Docs, PowerPoint, SAP and other systems required.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships within business.
