Job Description
With a strong reputation across multiple industries and a consistent pipeline of work, the client is looking to bring on an Internal Sales Engineer to support their growing customer base.
The Role
This is a great opportunity for a trade‐qualified professional or technically minded individual to step into a sales‐focused role, working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries and technical support
* Interpret drawings and specifications to provide accurate quotes and solutions
* Prepare estimates, proposals and pricing for custom fabrication projects
* Liaise with production to ensure jobs are delivered to scope, quality and timeline
* Build strong relationships with existing clients and identify new opportunities
* Support external sales and contribute to overall business growth
About You
* Trade qualified in Boilermaking, Sheet Metal, Welding or similar, or an engineering background
* Experience within metal manufacturing, fabrication or steel environments
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong communication skills and a customer‐first approach
* Previous sales/estimating experience is ideal, or a genuine desire to move off the tools
* Driven, reliable and keen to grow within a business long term
