**About the Role**
A fantastic entry level opportunity to join our Finance, Transformation & Operations divison.
The purpose of this position is to work within the Deceased Estates team providing administration support to branches, Customer Connect, and customers in relation to Deceased Estates. Ensuring that customer requests from Branches and other Operations personnel are processed in an efficient and accurate method in line with Banking Code of Practice (BCOP) guidelines.
The position is also expected to provide feedback on processes and or system improvements to improve the functioning of the department in areas of their responsibility.
This is the perfect role for someone looking to step out of Branch Network, or someone with an administrative background looking to get their foot in the door with the Banking & Finance Industry.
Key accountabilities
- Processing of deceased notifications in BOQ Group systems
- Responding to solicitors, Public Trustee, Executors for estates
- Adhering to BCOP standards and timeframes
- Attending to refunds of any account fees and charges
- Finalisation of estates
- Complete all daily processing within the specified time frames, ensuring BOQ meet all industry obligations.
- Action all AOM Tasks daily
- Monthly reconciliations for internal suspense accounts with daily monitoring
- All identified mandatory training to be completed and assessment successfully undertaken in accordance with the business training plan.
- All compliance policy and procedures are followed, with any breaches promptly escalated.
**About you**
It is a preferred that you have experience within the Banking & Finance industry or strong experience within administration/operations/back office. You will have high attention to detail, ensuring all data is accurately entered and processed whilst effectively working with high volume and handling high pressure.
Our Operations Officer will enjoy problem solving, identifying issues and working proactively both individually, within the team and with other stakeholders.
