**About the role**
The People and Culture (P&C) Business Partner provides specialist HR advice and support to the corporate executive leadership team, contributing to business outcomes through effective people practices. This role involves delivering HR consultancy services, supporting change management initiatives, and coaching leaders to build their people management capabilities.
The position requires strong technical HR knowledge to support complex organizational changes, conduct workforce planning, and implement recruitment strategies. Working closely with Department executives, you'll ensure alignment between business operations and P&C objectives while delivering practical solutions to people-related challenges.
Using the Mercer CED job assessment framework the position will also assist with job design and executive contract renewals.
**Qualifications**
**Essential**: Nil
**Desirable**: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or Organisational Development or equivalent relevant experience and Mercer CED job assessment certification.
***Special conditions**
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**
ASO7 $108,109 - 116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
