Job Description
Our Building Engineering Team is looking for a Graduate Fire Protection Engineer to join our team based in Brisbane. You will work with a close‐knit team on a variety of projects including defence, aviation, data‐centre, education and health sector projects.
How you'll make a difference
* Support all phases of fire protection project design and delivery, from concept to construction and commissioning, ensuring high‐quality solutions across diverse sectors.
* Assist in designing fire hydrant and hose reel systems, automatic fire sprinkler systems, alternative fire suppression systems, gas suppression, fire detection and evacuation systems.
* Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines on large, multi‐disciplinary projects to develop integrated fire protection solutions for major clients.
* Help ensure fire protection designs meet the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, local authority regulations, and client‐specific standards.
* Build expertise in wet and dry fire protection systems through hands‐on involvement and mentorship from senior engineers.

Qualifications
* Graduate Attributes: Strong communication and teamwork skills, a proactive and adaptable mindset, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
* Bachelor's Degree: Final year or completed degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any relevant discipline.
* Graduate Year: Must have graduated before starting the program.
* Commencement: Must be able to commence work by February 2027; mid‐year finishers can start by July 2027.
* Working Rights: Full working rights in Australia or New Zealand; student or graduate visas accepted.
