About This Role
">
* This is a leadership role that requires strong interpersonal skills and experience in designing and implementing activities that cater to the needs of elderly residents.
* The ideal candidate should have a Certificate III or IV in Leisure and Lifestyle (or similar) and at least one year of experience as a Lifestyle Officer in an aged care setting.
* They must also possess excellent communication and team management skills, with a commitment to resident-centred care and enhancing quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
">
* Develop and manage a monthly calendar of group activities tailored to residents' needs and preferences.
* Identify and nurture residents' individual talents, hobbies, and lifestyle preferences.
* Oversee the implementation of leisure and lifestyle activities, ensuring they meet the mental, physical, spiritual, psychological, and emotional needs of residents.
* Collaborate with the care team to support residents' care plans and report any changes in resident care to the registered nurse in charge.
* Foster an inclusive and flexible approach to service provision, ensuring resident safety and wishes are prioritized.
* Support and mentor new Lifestyle Officers, promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.
* Ensure all activities comply with the Aged Care Quality Standards and organizational policies.
