Astar Rigging Constructions is a family-owned business delivering transmission line construction and maintenance services across Australia. We are seeking a reliable and detail focused Finance Coordinator to support our finance, payroll and invoicing processes.
About the Role
This role is responsible for the day‑to-day processing of transactional finance, weekly payroll, expense reimbursements and client invoicing. It’s ideal for a team player with solid bookkeeping or payroll experience who is keen to grow their capability and responsibility over time within a structured, well-supported environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Process accounts payable and receivable
* Prepare client invoices and supporting documentation
* Perform bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations
* Process weekly payroll and payroll variations
* Maintain payroll, finance and employee records
* Prepare supporting documentation for BAS, PAYG, super and payroll tax
* Assist with month‑end close and external accountant requests
About You
* Experience in bookkeeping, payroll or finance coordination
* Confident using accounting systems (Xero, MYOB or similar)
* Strong attention to detail and time management
* Professional and discreet with confidential information
* Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting/Payroll (or equivalent experience) highly regarded
* Construction or contractor environment experience desirable
