About the Role
Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and Primary Leadership to support high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
Provide individual and small-group support inside and outside the classroom to ensure students can fully participate in learning activities.
Assist students with organisation, access to the curriculum and day-to-day learning tasks.
Help design, implement and review adjustments and modifications to learning activities and assessments under teacher guidance.
Support teachers by preparing resources, assisting with classroom organisation and contributing to effective learning environments.
Monitor student progress, collect information, conduct basic testing (as directed) and provide feedback to teachers.
Work with teaching teams to plan and deliver targeted learning strategies and consolidation activities.
Support the implementation of behaviour expectations in line with College policies.
Confidently operate classroom technologies, including laptops, iPads and Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and support.
About You
A strong commitment to inclusive education and helping every learner succeed.
Ability to build positive, respectful relationships with young students.
Intermediate understanding of primary curriculum concepts, classroom routines and assessment expectations.
Confidence using classroom technologies and digital learning tools.
Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.
A collaborative mindset and willingness to take initiative in supporting learning activities.
A calm, patient and solutions-focused approach to supporting student needs.
Qualifications and Registration
Certificate IV (Education Support) level qualification with equivalent work experience is the minimum requirement for this role.
Hold a current, valid Working with Children Blue Card.
