Jet Aviation is currently seeking B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join their Cairns team. Salary Package AUD$70,772 – $86,134 p.a. + Super + OT + Relocation Assistance + Aircraft Type Training available to selected candidates if applicable.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, both line and heavy maintenance, to OEM and approved standards
- Support inspections, defect analysis, and component maintenance
- Participate in aircraft movements, including towing, marshalling, and refuelling
- Maintain compliance with aviation safety regulations, quality systems, and workplace safety standards
- Accurately document and certify all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with LAMEs, Crew Leaders, and QA/Safety teams to maintain the highest operational standards
- Play a role in continuous improvement and drive safe, efficient outcomes for every project
What Will Help You To Succeed
- Minimum Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical)
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements for aircraft systems maintenance
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a highly compliant environment
- Experience working in aircraft maintenance across line and/or heavy maintenance activities
- Sound knowledge of CASA regulations and safety management systems
- Ability to follow procedures and technical documentation with attention to detail
- Solid computer skills (ERP systems, MS Office)
- Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and changing schedules
- Strong work ethic, with a team-oriented and proactive attitude
