We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Store Manger to join our Cairns Store in a Permanent Full Time position. You will be provided with uniforms, training and paid ABOVE award rates!
The Cairns opening hours are Monday to Saturday (NO nights)
As the Store Manager you will be:
* Responsible for ensuring the Cairns store operates safely and effectively at all times
* Delivering outstanding customer service and achieving sales revenue, profit targets and increased market share.
* Assisting our customers face to face and over the phone keeping them informed of promotional activity and to gain an understanding of their business needs and wants.
* You will also perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goods
* Using Pallet jacks, walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling
* Maintaining visual merchandising and store presentations to the required standards.
Do you have what we’re looking for?
* A strong Customer Service background in a store environment- hospitality, retail or similar
* Demonstrate a high level of competence in managing retail store operations
* Sound working knowledge of safety management and improvement
* An Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadlines
* Strong skills in people management and customer engagement
* This is a physical role with lifting up to 32kg for our heaviest tin of paint
We are looking for a great communicator and relationship builder, who will work alongside a great team providing an exceptional in-store customer experience. Being comfortable with manual handling and working in a trade environment is a must engaging with customers from the construction industry and assisting them with their needs.
