The Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQ HHS) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Talent Pool aims to increase employment opportunities and workforce representation in all sectors of the organisation. The Talent Pool seeks to identify suitable candidates for current and future temporary employment opportunities within a wide range of occupational areas.
Eligibility
To be eligible:
* identifies as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person; and/or
* is of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent; and
* is accepted as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person by the community in which they reside.
Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, a genuine occupational requirement exists for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community.
Role
To confirm eligibility for Indigenous‐identified roles, applicants may provide either:
* a written assertion that they are of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent; or
