About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful Administration Team Lead to manage the Patient Services team in our Craigie and Murdoch clinics.
Our commitment to quality and safety is our highest priority. As a Category B healthcare worker, vaccinations for influenza and COVID-19 are strongly recommended.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support, guidance and training to Patient Services team, including rostering and allocations.
Provide leadership and drive a positive culture within your team and between the other departments within the clinic.
Ensure the Patient Services team offers excellent customer service.
Set and monitor individual team member KPIs.
Oversee the process of clinical records storage, retention and management.
Address patient enquiries and resolve any issues or problems that are escalated from the Patient Services team.
Optimise the management of bookings and patient flow for all health care practitioners.
Oversee Medicare billing and cryo storage collection/debt (cover for billings officer).
Assist with the onboarding process for new team members.
Manage systems and processes for the flow of paperwork for all health care practitioners.
Review and identify opportunities for systems and processes improvement.
Liaise with health care practitioners and adjust and review the service as required within company policies and procedures.
About you
To be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
Experience in health administration.
Experience in people management.
Knowledge of Medicare, DVA and Private Health Fund billing (desirable).
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in handling phone calls with a professional and courteous demeanour.
High level of empathy and integrity.
A patient‑centred warm and caring approach.
Demonstrate willingness to learn and grow with the business.
