Servicing Industrial Driveshafts
As a skilled Workshop Fitter, you will play a vital role in the assembly, reconditioning, and repair of industrial driveshafts for various applications. Your attention to detail and expertise in machining and welding will be essential in ensuring the high quality of our products.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with their hands, has a strong mechanical aptitude, and is eager to develop their skills in a dynamic workshop environment.
About the Role
* Main Responsibilities:
* Assembly, reconditioning, and repair of industrial driveshafts
* Machining of driveline components
* Welding and balancing of driveshafts
* General workshop duties as required
Key Requirements
* Well-developed fitting and machining skills
* A sound mechanical aptitude and knowledge
* Experience operating manual lathes and welding equipment is essential
* Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility with job tasks
* Proven safety and quality focus
* A willingness to work as part of a team and do whatever is required to help achieve business targets
