We're seeking enthusiastic casual Food and Beverage Attendants to support our vibrant hospitality operations across multiple venues, including two bustling cafés, our dynamic events centre, and the stunning Zoofari Lodge restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a one‐of‐a‐kind environment, delivering exceptional service to guests while surrounded by the natural beauty and excitement of the Zoo.
Role
* Diverse Work Locations: Experience the thrill of working at Café Wild, Waterhole Café, Events, and Zoofari restaurant.
* Flexible Shifts: Shifts ranging from Monday to Sunday, starting as early as 7am and extending into late nights for events.
* Multiple Positions: Various day or night shifts available to suit your schedule.
* Customisable Hours: Discuss preferred minimum/maximum hours per week – suitable for school-age children with weekend availability or those seeking 20–30 hours per week.
* Extra Shifts: Opportunity to pick up additional shifts during holiday periods, weekends, or when available.
Your Day-to-Day Adventure
Role
Ready to dive into an exciting role where every day brings new experiences? With all training provided on the job, we're seeking individuals with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Here's what your day will look like:
* Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide top-notch customer service to our zoo guests, ensuring they have a memorable visit.
* Food & Beverage Duties: Engage in a variety of tasks, including:
* Setting Up: Prepare the café, event space, or restaurant for service.
* Serving Guests: Deliver delicious meals to our guests with a smile.
* Maintaining Cleanliness: Clear tables and handle washing up to keep the area spotless.
* Order Taking: Use the POS system to take orders efficiently.
* Handling Transactions: Manage Eftpos and cash transactions with accuracy.
Are you ready to bring your passion for hospitality to life?
We're on the lookout for dynamic individuals who are:
* Flexible and Available: Ready to work on a rotating schedule from Monday to Sunday.
* Experienced: Have front-of-house food and beverage operations experience.
* Coffee Enthusiasts: Experience making coffees is a plus, but not essential – on-the-job training provided!
* Adaptable: Able to meet varying roster commitments, including out-of-hours, school holidays, weekends, and holidays.
* Certified: Hold or be willing to obtain a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
* Child-Safe: Have a current paid NSW Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one.
* Licensed: Possess a driver's license if applicable.
