PositionAssessment Officer - Aged Care Non-ClinicalLocation: Rockingham/MandurahUnit/Division: Peel And Rockingham Kwinana Health ServiceWork Type: Casual, Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part TimePosition DescriptionThe Assessment Officer (AO) works with the aged care assessment service multi-disciplinary team to provide non-clinical aged care assessments independently in a home or community setting, for older adult clients.
The AO uses the Integrated Assessment Tool (IAT) and My Aged Care (MAC) systems to identify the care needs and eligibility of older people, supporting them to gain access to appropriate care, including Commonwealth Government subsidised aged care entry level services.Our ValuesOur Values guide our work in every action, including recruitment and employment.

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
