The Opportunity
Veolia has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to join our Industrial Services team. This is a FIFO role based at Murrin Murrin.

What you'll be responsible for
- Assist Site Manager with progress reports for operations and shutdowns
- Prepare and submit quotes for client-defined scope of work
- Support operations teams in developing continuous improvement methods to reduce costs and time delays
- Coordinate procurement of materials from external suppliers
- Coordinate and supervise external subcontractors
- Schedule and manage site-based equipment and labour resources
- Ensure client requests are met and coordinate with other business units for additional resources when necessary
- Liaise with stakeholders and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
- Maintain effective working relationships with team members
- Drive Veolia’s “Always Safe” safety culture
What you'll need to be successful
- Supervisory or leading hand experience in a heavy industrial environment
- Previous experience in an operational planning role in a heavy industrial environment
- A working knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery
- Intermediate IT skills, with a particular focus on database management and spreadsheets
- Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal)
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including ability to clarify and resolve customer service issues
- Highly developed customer focus
