**The Role**
This is a great opportunity for a motivated Finance Analyst to join & provide support to the Finance Supply Chain Team.
Reporting to Finance Manager - Supply Chain, your role will support with financial planning and budgeting processes, analysing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis.
As Finance Analyst - Supply Chain, you will be responsible for providing project teams with financial guidance and assisting with month end close processes.
**Core Responsibilities**
As Finance Analyst - Supply Chain, your core responsibilities will include:
- Manage and lead the month-end process and the preparation of the monthly performance pack.
- Support the coordination and delivery of the budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy, and producing valuable insight materials for stakeholders.
- Track, analyse and report on freight and warehouse costs, variances against budget and forecasts.
- Supporting the warehouse teams with better reporting, commercial analysis, automation and assisting with the management of hotspots.
- Providing supply chain costing for new products and channels.
- Partnering with National Planning team to manage inventory and waste.
- Building financial models and sharing "next level" insights to understand the impact business opportunities and support business critical projects.
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse managers to identify, executive and deliver continuous improvement initiatives to optimise cost and operations.
**Experience desired**
- CA or CPA qualified or similar.
- Experience in FMCG or Supply Chain preferable - (preferred but not essential)
- Strong Excel / ERP system skills
- Experience with EOM, budget / strategy process.
- Able to meet deadlines and influence others to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail whilst seeing the big picture.
- Strong financial analysis, modelling and forecasting skills
