**Drillers Offsider Career Pathway**
Join our entry-level Drillers Offsider traineeship in Western Australia's Pilbara and Goldfields regions. This role is designed to build your skills as a drillers offsider (assistant/trainee driller) through on-the-job training on active Reverse Circulation or Diamond rigs.
**Job Description**
As a Drillers Offsider, you will be responsible for assisting the driller, conducting daily pre-start equipment checks, completing safety paperwork and processes, and performing routine rig, machine, equipment, and tool maintenance and cleaning.
You will also load and unload heavy vehicles, assist with set up, dismantle, and move rigs and related equipment, and perform manual handling of drill rods, sample bags, core trays, etc.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
Background in a labor-intensive role (e.g., concreting, farming, plumbing, bricklaying, general labour) is preferred. Previous FIFO mining experience in any role is also advantageous.
Australia driver's license, specifically a manual C Class Unrestricted License with no restrictions, is mandatory. You must reside in or relocate to Western Australia and have a clean police record from within the last 3 months.
