Qualifications Degree and relevant qualifications.
Significant experience in bid management, sales, business development, commercial, project, and risk management.
Good knowledge of the commercial and other sectors.
Excellent communication, people management, organisational, presentation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in using the Microsoft Package.
Proven track record working within this role and within the industries involved.
Experience with p401/p402/p403/p404/p405 or s301 CCP is desirable.
The Purpose of the Role Identifying asbestos and legionella consultancy opportunities within the commercial, public, and private sectors.
Preparing and winning bids and taking end to end responsibility for the bid process.
Key Responsibilities Manage the bid qualification process effectively.
Coordinate bid inputs from stakeholders (sales, marketing, finance, technical teams, legal, etc.).
Sourcing, collating, and engaging with PQQs.
Work with technical managers to ensure technical and commercial aspects of tenders are completed on time.
Identify new opportunities in collaboration with technical managers.
Prepare and review the technical side of bids, ensuring accurate, presentable, and market leading submissions.
Maintain client information and liaise with regional offices to ensure accurate tender submissions.
Collate information and communicate feedback to management.
Engage with sales and development teams.
Collaborate with Sales and Managing Directors on technical and commercial aspects of tenders.
Prepare written proposals and management summaries.
Deliver compliant and commercially sound bids, resolving various business issues (technical, etc.).
Arrange post bid reviews and gather client/customer feedback.
Implement continual improvement of tender documentation.
Maintain and build rapport with the Marketing Manager and clients.
Resolve issues effectively and promptly.
