Salary: $575,277 - $684,457 p.a. (inclusive of base, PDL, on-call allowances & 12% super)
You will deliver high-quality surgical care, play a vital role in improving Indigenous health outcomes, and contribute to the training and mentoring of junior doctors.
The Role
* Provide comprehensive general surgical care.
* Collaborate with a regional team of Consultants, GP Anaesthetists, and multidisciplinary colleagues.
* Participate in on-call surgical roster for emergency presentations.
* Undertake outreach surgical clinics to remote communities.
* Mentor, supervise, and inspire junior doctors and trainees in a highly regarded teaching environment.
* Contribute to closing the gap in Indigenous health through culturally safe, patient-centred care.

* Competitive Salary: $575k - $684k p.a.

Preferences
* Currently reside in Australia
* Hold unrestricted General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia
* Have at least two years of clinical experience in Australia or a recognised Competent Authority country
In addition, completion of upper and lower GI endoscopy training accredited by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) is essential.
