About the Opportunity
As the
Senior Solution Architect
within our
HGEN (Health Grade Enterprise Network)
Program at eHealth NSW, you will help make a real difference in healthcare through driving a statewide network transformation that powers safe, connected, and future-ready healthcare across NSW.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the statewide HGEN network renewal program, lead hospital network infrastructure designs and campus refresh projects, and support staff in transitioning from traditional to modern fabric-based architectures.
In this role, you will
Provide strategic architectural advice to guide statewide network investment and alignment with NSW Health priorities.
Build and sustain strong partnerships across eHealth, NSW Health and external stakeholders.
Lead the design and delivery of hospital and district-wide network infrastructure, including campus refresh projects.
Maintain and contribute to NSW Health network standards, policies, and assurance frameworks.
Support the transition from traditional networking to modern, fabric-based architectures, ensuring secure and resilient outcomes.
About You
Background in healthcare or critical infrastructure setting.
Expertise in enterprise network architecture, lifecycle planning, and multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, NGFWs).
Strong knowledge of LAN/WLAN, segmentation, device onboarding, zero trust and ICT security frameworks.
Skilled in developing ICT architectures and technology roadmaps, ensuring integration and alignment with program deliverables.
Excellent leadership, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills to influence and drive outcomes.
