Perth Montessori is seeking a passionate and versatile secondary teacher to join our Adolescent Program from Term 1, 2026. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, supportive team, guiding and mentoring young people in a multi-age advisory class for Years 7–9.

Perth Montessori is an independent, non-denominational school in Burswood, WA, providing education from early childhood to Year 12. Our Adolescent Program (Years 7–12) combines the Montessori philosophy with the Big Picture Learning Design to create a personalised, project-based, and real-world approach to secondary education.

The Role
In collaboration with teaching colleagues, you will be responsible for supporting Year 9s as they transition towards Senior School. This is a collaborative role in a small, multi-disciplinary team where flexibility, creativity and strong relationships are central.
While we will consider applicants from all teaching specialisations, expertise in English and HASS is highly desirable. Experience with Montessori, Big Picture Learning, or other project-based, student-centred approaches will be an advantage.

* Support students to develop independence, resilience, and responsibility as learners.

About You:
* A registered teacher (or eligible for registration) with the TRBWA.
* Experienced in adolescent education and personalised learning.
* Experience and training in Montessori and Big Picture is highly desirable.

* A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
