Bovercon is a licensed Queensland building company delivering renovation, maintenance, and modification works across the Fraser Coast region. We work with private clients, Occupational Therapists, Home Assist providers, Churches of Christ, IUIH and other care organisations who value professionalism, clarity, and compliance.
As our workload and referral network continue to grow, we are seeking a commercially minded Front-End Growth & Estimating Lead to own our enquiry-to-deposit process and help expand our presence within the care and private sectors.
This is not an administration role.
This is a client-facing, revenue-focused position.
This is a Fraser Coast–based role requiring site visits and in-person meetings. Administrative work may be completed from home when appropriate.
You will represent Bovercon from first contact through to secured project, ensuring accurate scope capture, confident pricing of standard works, and strong conversion outcomes.
The Role
You will be accountable for front-end revenue flow while operating within clearly defined pricing and compliance guardrails.
You will:
* Act as the first point of contact for new enquiries
* Attend site visits and capture scopes accurately
* Confidently price straightforward works internally using labour and material logic
* Identify when targeted trade pricing is required
* Escalate structural, compliance-heavy or high-risk items appropriately
* Present and follow up quotes professionally
* Drive enquiry-to-deposit conversion
* Build and maintain relationships with OTs and care agencies
* Identify and pursue new referral opportunities
* Ensure accepted projects are commercially and administratively ready before handover to the delivery team
Final pricing approval and compliance decisions remain with company management.
What We Are Looking For
This role suits someone who:
* Has practical construction knowledge (trade background or strong small-works estimating experience)
* Can apply labour and material logic without relying on multiple quotes for every job
* Understands margin protection and commercial judgement
* Is confident speaking with clients onsite
* Can build trust quickly with both private clients and care agencies
* Is decisive, solutions-focused, and comfortable balancing speed with accuracy
* Takes ownership of outcomes rather than simply completing tasks
Trade qualification is helpful but not essential. Commercial thinking, communication skills, and sound judgement are critical.

You will be measured on:
* Quote turnaround time
* Enquiry-to-deposit conversion rate
* Referral partner development
* Pipeline value under management
* Front-end revenue performance
What This Role Does Not Do
* Approve final pricing or scope changes independently
* Make compliance or licensing decisions
* Supervise works onsite
* Engage trades independently without approval
Authority limits and escalation triggers are clearly defined to protect margin and compliance.
Remuneration
AU$75,000 – AU$90,000 per year (based on experience)
Performance-based incentives may be introduced as the role develops.
