Medical Officers/Registrars for Contrast Cover

Flexible Work, Excellent Hourly Rate, Work That Fits Around You

I-MED Radiology is seeking qualified medical professionals - including Radiology Registrars, GPs, Medical Officers, and other doctors with general or vocational registration - to provide on-site contrast cover at our Canberra imaging clinics.

This is an ideal opportunity for doctors who are looking to earn excellent rates for short, well-supported shifts, completing telehealth or study and seeking flexible supplementary income, interested in gaining exposure to the radiology field, or wanting a low-pressure environment with a focus on patient safety and clinical support.

About Us

At I-MED Radiology, we believe in working as a team and delivering high quality healthcare to every patient, every time. We\'re Australia\'s largest private diagnostic imaging network with 200+ clinics nationally, and we\'re growing. With over 250 clinics and 4000 staff, I-MED Radiology is Australia\'s largest Radiology Network. As an industry leader, we have the resources to grow your skills and provide opportunities for a range of career advancement pathways.

What's involved

You'll be based on-site during imaging sessions where contrast is administered (typically CT or MRI), ready to assist in the rare event of an adverse reaction. Our clinical teams manage the workflow and patient care, and you're there to provide emergency response support if needed.

What we offer

* Excellent hourly rates
* Paid induction and support from radiologists and clinic teams
* Flexible rostering - shifts available weekdays with options to suit your schedule
* Professional, low-stress work environment

Who we\'re looking for

* Experience in acute care, general practice, emergency, or radiology preferred
* Competence in managing contrast-related reactions (training and protocols provided)
* Ability to work independently while part of a collaborative team
* Professionalism, calm under pressure, and commitment to patient safety

This is a great way to earn strong rates and make the most of your time—whether you\'re studying, consulting remotely, or just looking for flexible, meaningful shifts.

Apply now or contact us for a confidential discussion.
