We are seeking a highly organised Events Administrator (Temp) to provide hands-on coordination and administrative support for a major health sector event taking place in May 2026.
This short-term opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys event logistics, stakeholder coordination, and keeping projects running smoothly. Working closely with a supportive team, you will help coordinate the planning, delivery and follow-up of a large symposium while also providing general project and administrative support.
The Role
A key focus of this role will be assisting with the coordination of a major symposium event, providing end-to-end administrative and logistical support from planning through to post-event evaluation.
Event Coordination (Primary Focus)
* Assisting with planning and logistics for a large symposium event in May
* Coordinating event elements such as venue bookings, catering, audio-visual requirements and registrations
* Communicating with delegates, speakers and partners
* Maintaining event documentation including project plans, run sheets and briefing materials
* Managing registration lists, attendance tracking and waitlists
* Coordinating suppliers and ensuring event deliverables are met within agreed timelines
* Providing on-site support during the event including registration and speaker coordination
* Supporting post-event evaluation and reporting processes
Project & Administrative Support
* Scheduling meetings and coordinating project communications
* Preparing agendas, minutes, presentations and reports
* Maintaining project records and documentation
* Supporting project planning and tracking actions to ensure deadlines are met.
About You
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Experience supporting events, projects or stakeholder activities
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
* Confidence engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
* Strong Microsoft 365 skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint.
You must be available to commence on Tuesday 24th March and commit to a minimum 14 week engagement.
