The Barista/Cafe Allrounder role at our residential home is an excellent opportunity for those seeking a friendly and welcoming environment to thrive.
We are looking for someone to create a positive atmosphere for residents and their families to socialize over a hot or cold beverage or snack.
This involves:
1. Welcoming customers with a warm and helpful personality and attitude.
2. Serving a range of snacks, including hot and cold sandwiches, cakes, muffins, etc.
3. Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages - barista certificate required.
4. Cleaning the kitchen, service areas, and dining area around the coffee shop.
5. Maintaining high-quality cafe operations and working with the Chef Manager to discuss supply needs.
This is a physical role requiring bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing items to perform daily tasks safely. You must be able to perform these tasks without risking injury to yourself, colleagues, or residents.
About YouWe value a friendly disposition, willingness to help, and experience in customer service or hospitality. Formal qualifications like a Cert II in Hospitality are highly regarded, but more important are the skills and qualities you bring to the table.
