Overview

ABOUT THE COMPANYAn electronics manufacturing company with nearly 50 years of operation, based in the North-West of Melbourne. They service many industries, including Automotive, Telecoms, and Health.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLEThey require a Bookkeeper to join the team on-site for 2 days per week to assist across the Accounts, Payroll, and Administration functions. It is an office-based role; however, they are flexible on the days and hours. This is an established and integral role within the business.

* Enter and match supplier invoices in Business Central.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Raise and send customer invoices.
* Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
* Record daily bank transactions and reconciliations
* Prepare and process payroll in accordance with company procedures.
* Ensure all superannuation contributions and PAYG obligations are processed on time.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Officer, or similar role.
* Previous work experience in the manufacturing industry
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central(or similar ERP system).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
