**Overview of the role**:
**Duties of the role include, but not limited to**:
- In alignment with MacGeo Fleet Maintenance Management Software, forecast upcoming services and communicate to PM’s at schedule meetings.
- Identify priority repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment, developing plans to rectify in consultation with PM’s and Drilling Ops Manager.
- Use of MacGeo Fleet Maintenance Management Software to communicate to Operations Managers (Drill + PM).
- Organise and procure parts and equipment for defect rectification and servicing.
- Provide assistance and guidance to field crew in relation to breakdowns.
- Conduct servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs on assets (trucks, drill Rigs, LV’s small motors).
- Complete associated documentation with respect to repairs, maintenance and services.
- Support and train field personnel in correct preventative maintenance and servicing.
- Manage and assist external maintenance contractors, bookings or inspections.
**Minimum requirements for the position are**:
- Heavy diesel fitter or equivalent trade certificates
- A heavy diesel background is essential.
- Minimum HR Truck Licence (preferred but not essential)
- NSW White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Currency of Current First Aid Certificate (preferred but not essential)
- Current and valid RISI (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical inclusive of D&A; test
- Ability to obtain a Police Clearance upon request
