NDIS Program Officer
* Deliver services designed to maintain and develop employment skills, pre-vocational skills or recreational and community development skills to improve quality of life
* Contribute to program design, coordination and review
* Participate in meetings with client's families, advocates and other service providers where necessary
* Monitor programs and complete necessary NDIS documentation including service agreements and input / maintaining Supportability
* Develop the organisation's capacity and capability in promoting and delivering NDIS support to current and potential future participants
* Assist with providing training, information and communication to casual staff in relation to NDIS activities and their clients
* Assist with new business development and promoting Beyond and Choices programs with internal and external customers, community groups, educational institutions and prospective participants
* Meet required targets as set out in the KPI's document
* A requirement of this role is to facilitate and support clients with personal care. Personal care relates to assistance with daily personal activities including personal hygiene, toileting, bladder and bowel management, eating, drinking and mobility.
* Provide behavioural support to participants with complex needs and ensure effective documentation to engage with participants' clinical support networks.
* Working within the legislative requirements of the NDIS including restrictive practices and reportable incidents
* Willingness to use personal vehicle for 1:1 program support transportation.
Position Requirements
* Current Australian Driver's Licence (essential) P2 Minimum
* Meet the most current COVID-19 Vaccine requirement – medical exemption also acceptable (or willingness to obtain)
* Relevant NDIS / DHS checks and clearances in accordance with the role requirements (or willingness to obtain)
* Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Manual Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Child Safe Environments - Through Their Eyes Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
