ALTINA is one of Australia’s fastest growing non-alcoholic beverage brands, producing premium alcohol-free spirits enjoyed across Australia and internationally. As demand continues to grow, we are expanding our warehouse operations and looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to take ownership of our Canberra facility.
About the role
As Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the ALTINA warehouse and coordination of stock movement across our national fulfilment network.
Based in our Fyshwick warehouse, you will lead a team of four warehouse staff, oversee ecommerce fulfilment operations, and ensure product moves efficiently from production through to customers and 3PL partners.
Our warehouse supports ecommerce fulfilment and national stock distribution to six external warehouses across Australia.
Reporting directly to the leadership team, you will play a key role in building efficient systems and processes as the business continues to grow.
Key responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
* Manage receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch operations
* Oversee ecommerce fulfilment operations currently processing ~5,000 orders per month
* Improve warehouse layout, workflow efficiency and operational processes
* Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of all orders
Team Leadership
* Lead and manage a team of warehouse assistants
* Schedule daily work and maintain accountability across the team
* Hire and train additional staff as the business grows
* Manage seasonal casual labour during peak periods
Inventory Management
* Maintain accurate inventory across our warehouse and external 3PL locations
* Implement cycle counting and stock control processes
* Manage batch tracking and FIFO processes
* Allocate stock across multiple warehouses based on forecasts
Logistics Coordination
* Coordinate pallet shipments to national 3PL warehouses
* Book freight with existing logistics providers
* Monitor freight performance and resolve delivery issues
Safety and Continuous Improvement
* Implement forklift and warehouse safety procedures
* Develop receiving and pallet handling processes
* Identify and implement operational improvements as the warehouse scales
About you
You are a highly organised operator who enjoys building efficient systems and leading warehouse teams.
You will likely have:
* 3–5 years experience managing warehouse or fulfilment operations
* 2+ years experience leading warehouse teams
* Strong attention to detail and operational discipline
* A hands-on approach and willingness to step in during busy periods or operational issues
* Experience with inventory and fulfilment systems (eg Cin7, Shopify, Starshipit, CartonCloud) preferred
* A forklift licence
* Full Australian working rights
Role details
* Full-time role based in our Fyshwick warehouse (Canberra)
* Monday to Friday, typically 8:30am – 4:30pm
* Occasional additional hours during peak seasonal periods
* $100,000 – $115,000 + super depending on experience
* Up to 10% annual performance bonus
* Eligibility for ALTINA employee share option plan
