Role Overview
We're seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Salesperson to join our office-based team. This role focuses on managing inbound sales inquiries, supporting project specifications, and building long-term relationships with customers across the construction, architecture, and accessibility sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond promptly to customer enquiries via phone, email, and CRM system (SugarCRM).
* Prepare accurate quotes, product selections, and technical information based on job requirements and compliance standards.
* Proactively follow-up on quotations and leads to convert opportunities into sales.
* Support architects, builders, and distributors with product knowledge, samples, and installation guidance.
* Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions, projects, and sales performance in the CRM system.
* Collaborate with internal teams (production, logistics, technical) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in internal sales, customer service, or business development (construction or building products industry preferred).
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and building plans.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both verbal and written.
* Working knowledge of building products, accessibility, or compliance requirements is advantageous.
* High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (SugarCRM experience advantageous).
