Overview
Home Inn Australia is seeking a motivated Motel Maintenance Person for Singleton, NSW. As a casual employee up to 20 hours a week, you will ensure smooth operation and upkeep of our motel facilities, contributing to the overall guest experience.
What You'll Be Doing
* Perform general maintenance and repairs across the motel, including plumbing, room upkeep, lawns and gardens, pool cleaning and any other works within the role
* Conduct routine inspections and identify any issues requiring attention
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
* Assist with the preparation and cleaning of motel rooms and common areas
* Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
* Liaise with external contractors and vendors as needed
* Contribute to the overall cleanliness and presentation of the motel
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a similar maintenance or handyperson role, ideally within the hospitality or property management industry
* Strong practical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of maintenance issues
* Good time management and problem‑solving skills to work efficiently and effectively
* Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to work well with a team
* Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations
* A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
