Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Strategic Operations Coordinator. This role will provide high-level support to our CEO/Artistic Director and ensure smooth coordination across our operations, productions, and governance.
The successful candidate will lead organisational coordination and staff management, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace. They will also provide production management across projects and performances, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate operational activities, manage staff, and promote a positive workplace culture.
* Oversee production management, financial planning, and reporting to ensure efficient operations.
* Support governance processes, risk management, and strategic development with the CEO and Board.
* Contribute to funding applications, grant reporting, and business planning.
* Monitor finances and operational systems in collaboration with the Finance Manager.
Selection Criteria:
* At least three years' experience in management or coordination in the arts or community sector.
* Strong production management skills, preferably in a small to medium arts organisation.
* Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, reporting, and compliance.
* Experience supervising staff and contractors, promoting positive workplace culture.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Commitment to inclusion, equity, and the role of arts in creating social change.
* Proficiency with IT systems, including Microsoft 365.
