Senior Release of Information Officer
Location: Perth WA
Employment Type: Temporary Engagement – 6-month temp contract
Hourly rate: $50–$55 p/h + super
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Release of Information Officer to join our client's team. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely release of information in compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. You will be responsible for implementing and administering processes for the release of information, reviewing sensitive records, coordinating summons, subpoenas, and other legal orders, and preparing files for court proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and process requests for information in accordance with legislative requirements.
Review and vet sensitive records for compliance and accuracy.
Coordinate legal documentation, including subpoenas and summons.
Ensure adherence to internal and external guidelines for information management.
Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively across all levels.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
Ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulations, and policies.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, particularly the Freedom of Information Act ****.
